Quilling

  Quilling is an art, also known as filigree. It is done by taking thin strips of paper and coiling them around a 
 quilling tool to create a coil. The coil is then shaped in to aform to create various types of ornaments that
 can be used for embellishments in your card making, scrapbooking or gift tag  prodjects

  The craft of quilling is becoming more and more popular. There are many techniques, styles and materials 
 that  can be used in quilling. Along with using quillings for embellishments you can create three dimensional 
 quillins for orenaments, decorations and even center piece arrangements. The ideas are endless in what you 
 can create. Your imagination is the limt.

  This is a unique art that can be passed on for generations. My kids enjoy it as well. Using a larger strip of 
 paper makes it easier for little hands.
